OK so lets get a few things straight right off the bat, I love rift, I love the class system in rift, I love the graphics in rift and I love the people I play rift with.
Now that thats out of the way onto my current issue with Rift, I get bored really easily when I play the same thing for long periods so early in Rift I swapped characters a lot and the primary people who play the times I do out leveled me, and whats worse is even when they made alts it continued to happen.
Now I realize thats my fault and not the fault of the game exactly, it does cause another thing to come to light, in Rift you spend a lot of time in each zone, which is another thing that bores me, I like to see new places, new enemies and etc and so to keep myself interested I tend to have to leave zones a bit earlier then is suggested which makes soloing fairly difficult.
Combine the difficulty in soloing with the previous problem of not always having some one to level with and my leveling speed which is already low is lowered further still... I just do not know how to handle it honestly... I have to keep myself entertained but the measures I take in order to do so cause me even more bordem.

I would probally not have done it if at all without a partner. Things that really helped me out were: A huge playlist of favorite music, Leveling buddy, and sometimes just using my imagination with whats going on like reading the quest and getting immersed into the story. but it gets alot better after scarwood as you have different zones to jump around to and from to choose. just hang in there!
I think the lack of music is part of the issue, due to my computers recent untimely demise I'm stuck with internet radio.
