Crysis 2 - Further opinions

So I talked about how much I was enjoying Crysis 2 in the last post but as seems to happen often these days about mid way through the game it all goes to shit and becomes a "How many enemies can we put in one space?" situation where most of your weapons also have either limited use or are largely ineffective, also note that the further you get into the game the worse the performance gets.
